What is Intercom's Advanced plan?
Intercom Advanced is the mid-tier plan at $99/seat/month (monthly) or $85/seat/month (annual). Annual contract required. Key features over Essential: Advanced Workflows, multiple team inboxes, round-robin assignment, multilingual help center, team performance reports, and 20 free Lite seats.
What happened to Intercom Engage and Accelerate plans?
Intercom rebranded in 2023. The Engage plan (outbound messaging, automation) and Accelerate plan (high-growth features) were both replaced by the Advanced plan. If you were on Engage or Accelerate, you are now on Advanced or a legacy equivalent.
What are Lite seats and what do they do?
Lite seats are viewer-only. Lite holders can read conversations, leave internal notes, and view reports - but cannot send messages to customers, close tickets, or be assigned conversations. Advanced includes 20 free Lite seats, Expert includes 50.
Can I cancel Advanced mid-contract?
No. Advanced requires an annual contract. You cannot cancel for a refund mid-term. The subscription runs to end of the 12-month period. You can request cancellation before the renewal date.
